Sports Clinic
July 13th - July 17th

Monday thru Friday
8:00am—Noon
Boys & Girls Ages 7 to 12
Cost: $100 (Members)/$125 Non-Members

Boys and girls will be introduced to, or improve in over four different sports including soccer, basketball, taekwan-do, volleyball, softball, crossfitness conditioning and more! Kids will spend 45-50 minutes each day in basketball, soccer, and taekwon-do with a short break for snacks. One period each day will be a fun mix of games and instruction in volleyball, softball, and crossfit conditioning. A sports drink and energy bar will be provided but kids can bring extra snacks if needed. There will be an awards ceremony on the last day at noon, parents are invited. Tennis shoes, shorts and t-shirts are required each day. .

Softball Fielding Camp
June 29th - July 2nd

Monday-Thursday
9:00am - 10:45am
Boys & Girls Ages 6-14
Cost: $45 (Members)/$60 (Non-Members)

Boys and girls will improve in all fielding techniques, and throwing accuracy. Beginning to intermediate pitchers will receive instruction in basic pitching techniques. Youth should bring their own gloves.

Softball Hitting Camp
July 6th - July 9th

Monday-Thursday
12:00pm - 1:45pm
Boys & Girls Ages 6-14
Cost: $45 (Members)/$60 (Non-Members)

Boys and girls will get specialized instruction focusing on technique to increase their power and accuracy at bat. Youth are welcome to bring their own bats.

Travel Challenge
July 6th—August 2nd

Boys & Girls Ages 6 to 17
Cost: $10
This is a great way to keep your kids active and healthy and away from the TV all summer long! Youth are encouraged to step up their summer activity levels and try something new as they virtually travel from Sonora to Washington D.C. earning “miles” by incorporating healthy habits every day. Fitness activities, eating healthy and brushing their teeth and drinking water are just a few of the ways youth can earn miles. Summer programs and exercise classes with mom and dad get you bonus miles too! Keep track of your miles on your travel log and turn it in each week. You can even participate while on vacation! Youth can challenge their friends to see who will reach the capital first! Great prizes available. Parents you are welcome to play too.

Club SSV Volleyball Camps
June 29th—July 7th

Monday-Thursday
Girls Ages 6th - 8th grade at 11:00am - 12:45pm
Girls Ages 9th grade and up at 1:00pm-2:45pm
Cost: $45 Members/$60 Non-Members

Club SSV’s head coach creates a positive environment for girls of all ages and skill levels to improve their volleyball game. The class will focus on improving technique for serving, hitting, passing, blocking and overall team play. This is a great way to prepare for your upcoming school season or for Club Volleyball tryouts in the fall.

Boys & Girls Basketball Camps
July 6th - July 10th

Monday - Friday
Boys Ages 6 to 14 8:00 am - 9:45am
Girls Ages 6 to 14 10:00am - 11:45am
Cost: $45 Members/$60 Non-Members

Boys & Girls will improve their basketball skills in this fun week-long clinic for basketball lovers. Offensive skills, defensive skills, dribbling, passing, shooting, free-throws, blocking out, defensive stance, and rebounding are just a few the strategies that will be focused on.

Basketball Post Position Camp
July 27th & July 28th

Monday & Tuesday
Boys Ages 6 to 4 8:0am-9:45am
Girls Ages 6 to 14 10:00am - 11:45am

Cost: $45 Members/ $60 Non-Members

Boys & Girls will enjoy this fully loaded two-day session designed to develop skills necessary for the post position. We will emphasize technique, work on developing “touch”, and using their body to improve position around the basket. Whether your child is a wing or post player, this clinic will certainly improve their game.

Basketball Guard Position Camp
July 29th & July 30th

Wednesday & Thursday
Boys Ages 6 to 4 8:0am-9:45am
Girls Ages 6 to 14 10:00am - 11:45am

Cost: $45 Members/ $60 Non-Members

Boys & Girls will enjoy this jam-packed two-day session designed to focus on the responsibilities at the point and shooting guard positions. We will work on the fundamentals of ball-handling, dribbling, passing, and attacking the basket. This clinic will emphasize the importance of using both hands and will improve their overall game. I

Soccer Camp
July 20th - July 24th

Monday - Friday

Boys & Girls Ages 6 to 14
Cost: $45 Members/$60 Non-Members

Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of soccer with fun drills, games, activities and scrimmages. The class will emphasize conditioning, ball-handling skills, teamwork and sportsmanship.

CrossFitness Kids Camp
July 20th - July 24th

Monday - Friday
Boys & Girls Ages 6 to 18
1:00pm - 2:45pm
Cost: $45 Members/$60 Non-Members

This CrossFit style class is a fun-oriented strength and conditioning program for kids of all ages. Whether training for general conditioning or a specific sport this class will increase your child’s physical fitness through fun games and challenging moves. It is important that kids be able to push, pull, run, throw, lift and jump effectively and safely in play or in sport.

Football Camp
July 20th - July 31st

Monday - Friday
10:00am—11:00am
Boys Ages 7 to 15
Cost: $75

Be ahead of the rest when football season comes! This camp will focus on conditioning using weight-training, football drills, and two-hand touch games. Develop speed, power, strength, & agility through fun and competitive play. All games are non-contact and each training routine will be adjusted to individual fitness levels and abilities. Coached by Tim Gallagher who has over 20 years of coaching experience.

Speed & Agility Camp
July 13th - July 17th

Monday - Friday
11:00am - 12:45pm
Boys & Girls 9th to 12th grade
Cost: $45

Improve your 40 time, vertical jump, standing long jump and combine shuttle. This class will improve the performance of all athletes. You will also get a personalized weight training program focusing on power to complement the agility training.

Cross Country Camp
August 3rd - August 7th

Monday - Friday
8:00am - 9:00am
*Class meets at Willow Springs Park
Boys & Girls Ages 7 to 14
Cost: $45 Members/$60 Non-Members

This is a great early season camp to help your kids get into shape and develop a solid running form. The camp will focus on a variety of different workouts and spend time working on proper running form to maximize your kids running ability without wasting a lot of energy.

Summer Guppies
Session II:June 22nd - July 9th
Session III: July 13th - July 31st

Mondays - Tuesdays-Thursdays

Boys & Girls Ages 5 to 11
Cost: $40

The Summer Guppies group is a great 3-week introduction to swimming for boys and girls. The group will focus on teaching kids to swim all four strokes safely and correctly. Education and fun are the main emphasie. The class is perfect for kids who love the water and want to swim with kids of the same ability and age Youth must be able to swim 15 yards non-stop to participate. Instructor: Erica Watts .

Swimming & Conditioning for Teens
June 16th—July 25th

Mondays—Wednesdays—Fridays
7:30am—9:00am
Boys & Girls Ages 14 and Up
Cost: $70

The class will offer an introduction to competitive swimming and is a great addition to water polo training while emphasizing technique and aerobic conditioning. Youth will be coached with TCA age-group swimmers but will be in separate lanes. What a wonderful way for your kids to interact with peers their own age in a healthy environment while getting excellent swimming conditioning! Instructor: Erica Watts

We Do Parties!

Need a place to have a party for your kids? Three fun-filled hours at Sonora Sports & Fitness Center is an exciting way to spend your special day. You will have one hour of employee led games and activities of any theme of your choice (basketball, soccer, or any variety of activities), one hour of pool time (or a second hour of a group activity), and then a final hour in our special trainer’s room for presents, cake, or other festivities of your choice. You must provide your own decorations, for the room.

Cost for a three hour party with 10 kids - $150 Members, $175 Non-Members

Each additional kid (Max of 5 extra) $10
